Leah, Berklee College of music graduate and 2018 Jazz Act of the Year nominee for the New England Music Awards has been performing along the East Coast, teaching music, writing and has collaborated with artists such as Valerie Simpson, Peter Collins, Kennedy Administration, Binky Griptite, J.C. Hopkins and his Biggish Band, Tom Browne and Yoron Israel. Her most recent singles 'Away', 'Teach Me' and latest EP 'SonKissed' are available on all purchasing and streaming platforms. Originating from Henderson, North Carolina, she grew up singing in school, church, community choirs and studying music and instruments grew her love for and knowledge of different styles of music. She always had a fondness of jazz and soul music starting at a young age, as her father would play Jazz and Motown music on the radio. Going on to perform in some of the top NYC venues she also enjoys being involved in community events and giving back. It is very important to her to help others as many have helped her. She has great things in store for her in the near future and much music and passion to share with the world.
